![]() My son has not got a image of Win7 as it is a Dell OEM installation as found out by entering the product key to Microsoft. Appreciate if you can please send the link to download link along with the steps to install. Yes, Retail keys will absolutely work for upgrading In-Place and Anytime upgrades OEM Windows to a higher version of Windows, but activation after installation is what I’m talking about. Created on JanuDownload and re-install Windows 7 Home Premium OA I have Windows 7 Home Premium OA 64bit installed on my machine. You will only be able to activate one copy of Windows 7 with the product key number being used for either the 32 bit or 64 bit version at one time, not with both. I have only seen a single, unexplainable instance of the Dell OEM key automatically activating after using Retail media several other occasions have required a phone call to activate, though it does work over the phone. It basically is OEM basic input/output system (BIOS) activation - meaning they've activated it already and you don't need to enter the key and activate yourself. Microsoft aim to consolidate the Windows Userbase on a single 64 Bit Architecture and have dropped the 32 Bit Architecture which is rarely used these days and therefore wastes a lot of development time.
